ABOUT

Born and raised in Brisbane, Australia, I moved to the US in 2002 to play college basketball. Since then, Oregon has become my home. Over the years I’ve gained a great deal of knowledge about Portland and its surrounding areas. Growing up in Australia, I watched my father run several investment properties (long-term rentals, a short-term beach rental, business spaces) and was always very interested in real estate.

I’ve worked as a teacher for 17 years (4th grade, elementary PE and middle school Wellness) but spent my weekends visiting open houses as well as checking websites daily to see what inventory was available and keeping current with market trends. While teaching I bought, renovated and sold three homes. I realized the real estate urge was too great however, and knew flipping homes wasn’t enough to quench my thirst. The decision to begin a real estate career was an easy one. I’ve gained a lot of valuable skills through teaching that have helped me in real estate, such as negotiating, communicating, planning, organization and time management.

As a client of mine, you can take comfort in knowing that I have your best interests at heart. Real estate can be stressful, but I will be alongside you every step of the way.

When I'm not working, you can find me watching the Portland Trailblazers, spending time with my daughter, working on my current home projects, exercising, or catching up with family and friends.

WHAT I DO FOR YOU

Moving is a major life-changing decision that comes with a lot of emotion. Most people buy and sell homes just a few times in their lives, thus, understandably, you may not understand all the nuances involved in the real estate process. And nor should you. I will handle all of the details for you, anticipating your needs along the way, giving you straightforward explanations of the process, contracts, legal issues and so on. I will keep you informed of all your options, follow through on all commitments, while looking out for your best interest. When you work with me, you won’t be passed from one team member to another that doesn’t understand every intricate detail of your transaction. I handle it all.

I learned in my first real estate transaction (as a buyer many years ago) that response time is crucial. You’re making possibly the largest purchase of your life and when you have a question at 9 pm on Friday night, you don’t want to wait until Monday morning for an answer. I pride myself on response time and consistency. Waiting for someone to get back to you creates uncertainty that can be anxiety-producing. I strive to minimize the amount of stress and anxiety buying or selling real estate naturally creates.
